Hacked with no backups. Joomla Vulnerable without Updates.

Yesterday, we had 3 different sites hacked. They were all running different versions of Joomla (none unfortunately were current) and they were all hosted by different companies. One of the sites was able to be restored to a point, but it took most of the day and night to resolve and brought the business to a halt. The 2nd site we are still troubleshooting and the 3rd is gone - all files deleted. The hackers changed the C-panel to the Arabic language and created sub-dom [...]

IMGForge Chosen to Re-Design Pointer Sisters' Official Website

Today is a great Wednesday for me because it started with hot apple cider. I worked on the introductory text for the Fans Office Furniture page, and added the site to directories. Then I had a Joomla lesson -- thanks, So! -- and started to work on the Circle Medical Group site.

Walmart Re-designs Logo

I've always liked Walmart's logo - it's kind of cheap and generic with that star separating the WAL and the MART. Now they've gone the Big K route with a really ugly logo. Not really sure what the yellow splush is - a spark maybe, or the view looking down on six bamboo poles maybe?

Nevertheless, we're still going to go there and buy a lot of crap.

Why the name change?
We relocated to Cary, North Carolina! You may or may not know this, but with the birth of our latest son, Ethan, we felt he needed to get out of all that rain and see the sunshine! Of course it is really hot and muggy here and we could use some rain, but we are closer to family now and that means a lot to us. In the end the heat doesn't bother us that much!
